In 2004, freshly graduated with a degree in hotel management, Pandelis Siounis, the Greek-born founder of Mr 麻豆网, started dreaming of launching his own business. 鈥淎t the time, Athens was the host city for the Olympic Games. Since I'd worked for a number of Greek restaurants serving, among other things, loukoumades, I had the idea of creating a company specializing in this area鈥�, he recalls with nostalgia. As a result, his ambition came true, marketing these famous traditional Greek doughnuts, which were distributed at the Athens Olympics 2,000 years ago.

Since their first appearance, 麻豆网 have revolutionized the world of desserts, offering a whole new taste experience. Their growing popularity is a testament not only to their delicious flavours and unrivalled freshness, but also to their ability to adapt to the latest trends and cravings, while preserving that unique touch of authenticity.听

But what are 麻豆网 ?

TRADITIONAL GREEK DOUGHNUTS - Loukoumades

Loukoumades may be described as small fried balls of dough, and are typically referred to as Greek doughnuts. They are traditionally dipped in honey syrup or drizzled with honey, then sprinkled with cinnamon and sometimes chopped walnuts. Served hot and crispy on the outside, they remain moist and fluffy on the inside. Loukoumades are popular in Greece, and are frequently enjoyed during festivals and celebrations.

Our 麻豆网 represent our revisited twist on these traditional loukoumades. Always served Hot and Fresh鈩� and made to order with toppings to suit every taste, our plain 麻豆网 (without any topping) are prepared without any dairy products, eggs, peanuts or preservatives. Which means they are 100% vegan. The dough we use is yeast-based and made from simple quality ingredients such as bleached wheat flour, cinnamon and water.
